Assistance League® Tulsa is a volunteer-driven nonprofit dedicated to transforming lives in the Tulsa community through programs focused on clothing, education, arts and STEM initiatives.
- Operation School Bell® Operation School Bell® is Assistance League Tulsa’s signature philanthropic initiative. It supports Tulsa-area students through various innovative and impactful programs by directly providing school appropriate clothing, stocking school clothes and personal care closets, supporting literacy for elementary students and covering concurrent enrollment fees for high school students. Annually, these programs impact over 24,000 students in 138 schools and 13 school districts.
- Betty Bradstreet Arts Education Awards The Betty Bradstreet Arts Education Awards, established in 2005 through the Emma R. Showman Trust to honor Assistance League of Tulsa founding member Betty Bradstreet, provide funding to public school fine arts teachers (Pre-K–12) in Tulsa for classroom projects such as art supplies, musical instruments, and theater materials. Since its inception, the program has invested nearly $1,000,000 in Fine Arts education in the Tulsa community. Awards are granted annually with application submissions due each year in early October.
- STEM Education In partnership with the Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance, Assistance League Tulsa develops “STEM-in-a-Bag” kits. These are prepared curricular packages enabling students in Tulsa County to engage independently in structured STEM activities.
