Operation School Bell®

We’re here for YOU!

Operation School Bell serves as the flagship philanthropic program of Assistance League Tulsa. The program is dedicated to equipping public school students in Tulsa County with clothing and essential items to support their academic readiness and overall success. Launched in the autumn of 1977, Operation School Bell originated through a collaboration with a single Tulsa public elementary school, wherein Assistance League Tulsa members laundered, and repaired lost-and-found clothing items. Members also secured donations of children’s apparel to further assist students facing need.

As Assistance League Tulsa expanded and enhanced its fundraising capabilities, the scope and impact of Operation School Bell broadened accordingly. While the program initially targeted elementary students, it has since extended services to include secondary students within Tulsa Public Schools. Through the continued generosity of donors and the commitment of dedicated members, Operation School Bell now provides assistance to more than 25,000 students each year.

Dear Community Partners and Shareholders,

We want to share our heartfelt thanks for the incredible support you have shown our school community this past year. Your generosity, time, and partnership have made a meaningful difference for our students, families, and staff throughout the year.

Because of your support we were able to meet critical needs, celebrate our students, and create moments of care and joy across the school. From food and hygiene support to holiday gifts and family assistance, your efforts helped ensure that every student felt supported and that our families knew they were not alone.

This year was a powerful example of what is possible when a community comes together around a school. We are deeply grateful for the trust you place in us and for the many ways you show up for our students and families.

Thank you for being such an important part of our school community. We look forward to continuing our partnership and building even greater impact together in the new year.

Best,
